I used plain white paper and stamped him in chocolate chip ink. I punched him out with the two step owl punch, punching the big eyeball circle out of white cardstock and attaching with pop dots. I added 7mm googly eyeballs and punched his heart out of Melon Mambo paper. I thought he needed some wings so I used the cupcake punch and stamp set mentioned in my earlier post. I cut the stamped cupcake in half to make the wings and added hearts from the owl punch to finish him off.
Just a reminder of the Jolly Holiday cartridge that I will be giving away on Feb. 1st. Please leave a comment to be entered or if you are in need of any SU products you can greatly increase your chances. Your name will go in 5 times for each order placed. To check out the special merchandise that you can choose from click on the Sale-a-Bration link in the top right hand corner of my blog, under the SU link. When you get there click on the sale ad at the top of that page and it will bring you to a page with about 5 rectangles. Click on the bottom orange one and it will bring you to all of the merchandise that you can choose from as your special gift. These are all only available at this time though this promotion. On the last page there are also items from the big catalog that you can choose from as well as a free gift. To shop for your $50.00 of merchandise click on any of the rectangles on the left hand side and it will bring you to that grouping of merchandise. Remember you can even order from the Clearance Rack to get the most bang for you buck although all of those items are retired so once they're gone they're gone.

Thank you Karen, I did have a happy birthday. We kept it pretty low key, which is exactly how I like it. After a weekend of celebrating the boys birthday I'm always ready for something mellow by the time mine rolls around. Isn't that a fun owl? I've been having so much fun with him!
