Hello Bloggers,
Sorry it's been so long since my last post but the hard drive on my computer recently went out. However, I'm back now and looking very forward to keeping everyone up to speed on my latest creations. Last night we were supposed to have Stamp Camp but due to a sewer back-up, a trip to the hills, one member stuck in a snowdrift and icy roads for the rest of them to drive on I decided to reschedule for next week instead. It's supposed to be another stormy week, but I'll continue to hope for better weather by Friday.
These are the two projects that we will be making so I wanted to quickly post to let you know what to expect. How fun would that carrot be, filled with goodies, on your Easter dinner table? It is made with the new petal cone die cut from SU, which I think will prove to be a very useful addition to my growing collection of die cuts. I used the Forest Friends stamp set, which is offered free if you spend $50.00 in merchandise until the end of the month.
The card we will be making using a crayon resist technique, which is a fun & easy technique, sure to become a favorite. Easter Blossoms stamp set was used on the card.
Yay!! Can't wait to make these cutesies on Friday. (Jodi dictionary: didn't know how to spell words she creates) lol! Looks awesome! Mom and I will walk from Aberdeen if we have to. Oh think we might be able to get Pa to put snow tracks back on 4-wheeler.
