This is what I came up with for the H2H Challenge. I've been so kindly asked by the ladies over there to be a guest designer for this month. This was a color challenge, with the colors of winter in mind. As you can see I kept the color to a minimal and stuck with a lot of white. I used the plastic packaging from a roll of red sticky tape and the AP cartridge to make the snowglobe. The stamp set is Winter Joy from CTMH as well as the beautiful designer brad. I did not use my G to create this project so it will be easier for those of you who don't have one to recreate it if you so choose.
If you would like to take part in this great challenge be sure to pop over to their blog, using the link on the sidebar of my blog. I'd love to see what you all come up with using the fun and wintery colors that they have chose.
Recipe-
Circle card-<circle1>card@4 1/2" pg.21-Cut 1
Circle-<circle1>@4 1/2" pg.21-Cut 1- Attached this to top of card so you didn't see folded edge
Circle Trim-<circle1>layer@4 1/4" pg.21-Cut 1- Snip in one spot before attaching it around the circle, it will not fit all the way around but will be covered by the flower. 4 1/2" was too big.
Base-<tab2>@1/2" pg.58-Cut 2- Attach to bottom edge of card being sure that they match up at the bottom. I just attached with a bit of glue from a glue stick.
Flower-<Flower8>@1 3/4"-Cut 3-1 1/2"-Cut 2
I inked everything in chocolate ink and trimmed around the image. Cut my own snow mounds, added glitter and attached with pop dots in different areas to create dimension. Dump some glitter over area that will fit inside of the plastic globe. I used double stick tape all the way around edge of plastic globe to adhere to front of card. Attach the trim circle to cover up the ugly edges and embellish.
Oh My Goodness. This is stunning. So glad you are guest designing this month. Can't wait to see more!
