Decorative Scissors and Case
I'm sorry that the colors on the photos turned out so drab and a bit discolored. I didn't realize they were so bad until I posted them here. I will post another set later as I will be making some with a teacher theme for Valentines gifts. I used the Art Philosophy to make the holder. I cut the 3D heart found on pg. 26 and cut it at 11 1/2" . One cut will make two pockets. One heart has 2 flaps attached to it so you will want to cut one flap completely off. Cut on the score line so you end up with two hearts with one flap each. Fold heart in half matching up the curved edge. Fold flap and attach to the inside edge. Fold down one of the curved edges and add embellishment. I used the flower on pg.50 3@1" and 1 @3/4". I added one of my favorite CTMH brads to the center.
For the scissors I cut paper to match the blades on the scissors. I put a thin layer of Liquid Glass on one blade and covered with printed paper. I then added a generous layer of Liquid Glass to the top of that and allowed to dry. Complete the other side in the same way after first side is completely dry. If you get any Liquid Glass on the blades just use a bit of fine sandpaper to remove it.
