Artiste Piano Card Box

I have had this project in mind since I first saw this cut on the Artiste cartridge.  It is the perfect grand piano shape and we also had the perfect stamp set to finish out the keyboard.  I intend to add some greenery and dress it up a bit around the bow but wanted to post it anyhow.  We are currently running a special that if you spend $50.00 and the stamp of the month, you can choose a stamp set for 1/2 price.  If you haven't bought the Artiste cartridge yet, this is a perfect opportunity.  The SOTM would work great to make the Advent calendar that I posted earlier and you could purchase the music set at 1/2 price.  You can click on this link if you'd like to place your order Order Supplies Here .

The cards are your standard A2 size cards and you can fit 4-6 cards plus envelopes in the box, depending on how much you embellish your cards.  The box is cut at 5 1/2".  The keyboard is 1" x 4 1/4" and stamped with black ink. Attach the keyboard to the bottom edge, leaving a bit of black showing around the edges. To make the ledge on the piano cut a black piece of cardstock 1 1/2" x 4 3/8".  Score every 1/2" on the 1 1/2" side-1/2" & 1".  Accordian fold and glue two of the folds together forming an L.  Attach the foot of the L to the top edge of the keyboard.  Add bow or embellish however you please.

This would be a great gift to give to the music lover in your family or maybe a piano or music teacher at school.  Have fun creating!
