Stamp Camp Project #2

This project is inspired by Cricut MB member Greenbean who came up with this adorable cupcake idea made with a pair of fuzzy socks. I cut the cupcake holder at 2 1/4" out of Lifes a Party cartridge. I used SU Melon Mambo and Whisper White cardstock for the cupcake holder and the scallop edge border and folded to make the liner. For the tag I used whisper white and chocolate chip cardstock, the XL scallop punch and 1 3/8ths" circle punch. I used both the Create a Cupcake stamp set and the Build a Cupcake punch with melon mambo and soft suede inks. I found the socks and heart pick at the Dollar Tree, so another highly inexpensive idea. I cut a piece of cardboard 4x4" and covered with white cardstock for the bottom of the cellophane bag that I placed it in.

Don't forget that I'm still keeping track of my comments for a chance to win a Jolly Holiday Cricut cartridge. You can also increase you chances for winning by placing a SU order through my site. Click on link in the upper right hand corner and click on Shop Now to order. Your name will be placed in the drawing 5 times for each order. Our big Sale-A-Bration sale begins Tuesday, January 25th. You receive free stamping products for every $50.00 that you spend so be sure to stop back and check it out for all of your SU supplies.

  8. I am going to try my hand at making some of these as take home gifts for my daughters birthday party in March, her friends love funky socks so this would be perfect and better than handing out candy bags.
