Come in for a Cup!

Come in for a Cup!

This is my first project for the H2H challenge and I think that it turned out pretty fun.  The challenge was to use a stamp set that I had never used before.   I decided to use the "Mad About You" set that was last month's SOTM.  With the craziness of Christmas, a long week with my Grandma being sick and helping with arrangements after she was called to her heavenly home.  I ran out of December and this stamp set didn't make it out of the package.

I love the AP cartridge and like to think outside of the box, to see where my own creativity will take me.  I must not have had my daily dose of caffine yet because this is what I ended up with.   This card was made entirely with the AP cartridge on my Gypsy but could easily be done using the Cricut Craft Room.
I have the sizes that I cut and the page number from the AP cartridge listed below, so hopefully that will help you if you decide you would like to recreate it on your own.  The coffee is cut out of Sonoma paper and everything other than the tag, and red part of the cookie are out of  white card stock and stamped.  I used one of my favorite tools, the dauber, to do all of the inking on the edges of the froth, cookie, and tag using chocolate ink.

Cup-Width-8.4  Height-4.76<Shape1>-decorative layer-pg.26
Cup Base-W-2.81, H-1<Tab2>-pg.58-fold this shape in half
Cup Stem-W-1.62, H-1<Rctngle1>- pg.44
Cup Handle-W-3.02, H-1.59<Gift>-font layer-pg.60
These were all welded together to make up the cup card

Cupcake-W-2.89, H-3.24<Cupcake> pg.70
This is trimmed up to match up with the coffee layer to make up the froth.

Cookie-W-2.31, H-2.25<Heart1> pg.26-Cut this out of red
W-2.32, H-2.25<Heart1>-layer-pg.26-Cut this out of white
I used pop dots between the layers, then added a bit of glue and glitter to the center red portion of the cookie.

Coffee-W-7.57, H-4.29<shape1>-decorative layer-pg.26
This is cut in half and the top trimmed up to match up with the froth.  I left a bit of white showing so it looked like the rim of the cup.
